My Big Brother, My Role Model

November 20, 2008

Can anybody notice what the fuck is going on with this car? This is like when you eat those growth-accelerating pills and something went bad.

BMW Now Offers MPVs

November 20, 2008

Of course, they just haven’t figured out the name yet. X9? X10? Or perhaps X20?

Hyundai Trajet, B 1103 SW, JCC parking area.
Thanks to B for the photo.

Captain Kirk’s Car

November 20, 2008

Some of us might be excited with the upcoming Star Trek movie in 2009. And it is good to know that Chris Pine will be going to Palembang to shoot the Earth-based scenes.

And oh, there’s this other version that does not feature a warp engine:

This is probably Captain Kirk’s attempt on saving some energy. Warp engines are anti-matter consuming after all…

Facts:
Mitsubishi Lancer, BG 532 MA, Veteran, Palembang. (AP)
Mitsubishi Lancer, B 744 DW, unknown location. (RM)

November V8 Galore

November 20, 2008

V8 cars come in various shapes and sizes, and this November, we have three for you:

Some people might be disappointed with the mediocre stock Daewoo Nexia that they installed meticulous grills on the bumper, an elaborate rear bumper, and “V8 engines”. But seriously, it doesn’t make the car any better.

Some people are lucky enough that they still get to own the last generation of good-looking Balenos… Yet, humans can never satisfy themselves…

Some people are lucky enough to even be able to have a car (whatever car this is)! Yet, they invented something like the backward air scoop for whatever reason there may be… This car probably goes in reverse when it’s in the first gear.

Facts:
Daewoo Nexia, B 1844 ME, Alam Sutra. (dos)
Suzuki Baleno, D 3 TD, Tarogong. (B)
Unknown car, L 682 AQ, Raya Darmahusada, Surabaya. (RM)

The iCar

November 11, 2008

We’re serious, after the iPhone phenomena, the next logical thing would be an Apple-made automobile. And you know what, you need to wait no more. Presenting…

The new Apple iCar. It’s bigger than the latest generation iPod, more mobile than the new MacBook Air, and it’s literally faster than an 8-core Mac Pro. And best of all, it’s Steve Jobs approved. But we’re as surprised as you are that is in fact… Korean, and was not designed by Jonathan Ive.

Facts:
KIA Picanto, B 8564 FD, Lippo Karawaci.
Thanks to DW for the photo.
