Kalimantan Timur: The Land of Dreams and Surrealism

June 16, 2008

Recently, one of our trusty contributors went offshore to Kalimantan Timur. And I can assure you that Kalimantan Timur is truly a land of wonders…

Where cars could fly… Kalimantan Timur is a land of promise…

Where auto-parts sellers promised their customers that they could be faster with spoilers…

Or stickers…

Or a shit load of fiberglass, stickers, and all of the above… A land of confusion…

Where people doesn’t know what their wheel offsets are…

Where black is white…

Where a regular riceboy…

Can turn into a wedding car for hire…

Where a Mugen-powered Isuzu Panther exists…

With no other markings on the left side…

But that’s okay, since he found inspiration straight from the streets… A land of certainty…

Where political campaigns even rely on ricers that’s half the height…

The Day Riceboys Fly

June 16, 2008

Even anime characters can mock riceboys. But when riceboys are determined that they can follow the dream of Icarus, nothing can surely stop them. Take this for example:

Or perhaps this:

And when people gained wealth, some of them even thought that they truly are Bruce Wayne:

Breaking the MURI Record

June 16, 2008

Indonesia loves to break the MURI (Museum Rekor Indonesia) records. Why? Because this half-idiot Guinness World Records wannabe often give out records to numerous of meaningless records. As far as I know, they could probably give out certificates to “Kebo Pertama dengan Rok di Indonesia“, or “Nenek-Nenek Pertama dengan Celana dan Blangkon di Indonesia“, or “Idiot Pertama yang Menembus Rekor MURI“, and so on, if you get the idea. Well, this is their latest record-breaking THING… The Indonesia’s first giant combustion-engine-powered iron:

All it needs is this:

Update on the Latest Tachometer Tee

June 11, 2008

In case you are wondering where your orders are, our friends at Neuro-Designs just gave us a heads up this afternoon that they are still in the process of production. Since the tee involves intricate details (not just a plain white silkscreen over black fabric like the last time, they wanted to make sure that what they are making comes out right as well. The prototype will be available this weekend for QC, and the rest of the batch will follow on after that. Sorry if it took a while, guys, but I’m sure that you want the best quality out of your money, don’t you? Just drop them a line if you still have any questions.
