My Shoes Used to Be Big

June 20, 2006

Not everybody could understand the need of ricers to pull their sedans’ fenders out for having large rims that are significantly wider. Well, although we dislike having rims too big on cars like that, maybe it would be better to look at if he sticks with large rims. Look at the car now, it looks like if it was wearing a 3/4 baggy pants with legs that look like chicken bones. And not only that, whoever shaved that rear end really done a good job… For an angkot that is. This car has a bad geometrical similarities on its sides, it doesn’t shine, and I’d still prefer the stock rear end. Remind me again why we should sacrifice our fenders for bigger rims in the first place? It’s a bad idea after all.

Oh yeah, your taillights suck!

Actually, you hardly can see that something is wrong with this Kijang. Seriously. Apart from that pointless Dadone side mouldings, it has a nice set of rims, a not-so-bad muffler tip, and a personalized license plate. I assume that the owner is not somebody with lack of cash. Of course that is until you notice what’s pasted on its backside… Vivi? Does that stand for Variable Injection Variable Injection? And whoever owned this Kijang also decided to switch its rear wiper with a smaller Avanza wiper. I never do the math on this one or have the will to make the calculations, but doesn’t it wipe a smaller radius?

Taillights for the Colorblind

June 16, 2006

At first, I really have nothing against this car. Civic Wonders are nice, simple, and functional cars. And they look good, too… Without the clear taillights, that is! Not only that it looks cheap, it’s such a big turn off, too…

When cab drivers went nuts, here’s what they do, they buy out an ex-cab car, and they…

Put pointless stickers like “Keparat!” or even extra license plates like B 481 LO, and oh, the contrasting pink paint job, too.

They also tried to give the car an extra oomph by putting Tanabe stickers, possibly on each side of the car.

But they really can’t get enough with license plates, after a not-so-good attempt on the B 481 LO one, this guy improved a lot with acrylics saying B460NK.

Cab drivers are creative, aren’t they? Wait… You mean the owner is not a cab driver? Well, I’ll be damned, he must’ve suck for his entire sorry life…

Black Hoods and Trunks are So Yesterday…

June 14, 2006

Remember the Autobahn Cruiser?

Here’s another moron of those twisted upside-down ricers. Don’t get us wrong, we hated those fake black hoods and trunks. But we hated white hoods and trunks on black cars even more. At least when properly painted, the black ones don’t look as nasty as their white counterparts. BTW, not shown on the picture, but this car also has a white hood. I can’t never understand why some people cannot stick to those nice pure black colored cars… I thought black is the favorite car color in our country.
